Answers:

1hm. It is not a Hamilton safe. Hamilton safe company was started in 1967.

It is probably a Mosler safe. Mosler safe company was started in 1890 by the HAMILTON brothers in HAMILTON ohio. Mosler engineers have made some of the world's largest safes. Mosler built fort knox.

Mosler (hamilton) safes are highly prized, and can go for about 10000$ for large antique floor models. Yours is probbably in the thousands range, (lower thousands) Is it a fire-proof safe? these are rare and go for more $.

general prices start at 1000 and go up.
try www.brownsafe.com or www.sosantiquesafe.com
Have the rating, class, and cat number handy as well, you will need it.
