how come i can't open my safe

i have a gun safe that i haven't used in a year but now that i want to i can't get it opened. it is an amercan eagle gun safe with a combination lock. it's the one where on the first # you go 4 turns, 2nd #3 turns and so forth. if anybody knows something im forgetting thank you in advance

you are forgetting the right combination probably. try to think of the right combination or look for it maybe you have recorded it somewhere.
