how do you execute the combonation to get the safe to open? | |
i have a major safe and i have the 4 # combonation but my problem is i dont know exactly how to execute the combonation to get it to unlock. the hand written instructions from the previous owners say, "left 4 x to a, right 3 x to b, left 2 x to c, and right 1 x to d." i have tried a number of times going past the previous digit... just seems pointless.

turn left 4 times to the 1st number.
turn right 3 times to the 2nd number.
turn left 2 times to the 3rd number.
turn right till the dial stops. you are open.

your second number turn right stop on tht number each time.
your third number turn left stop on that number each time
your fourth numnber turn right stop on that number ea. time.
then open.
