how do i get a major floor safe open when the combo wont work? | |
i have a floor safe that i have not opened in about a year. when i tried to open it the other day it wouldn't open. i tried about a hundred times to get it to open but it wont.
i don't know if this will make a difference in answering the question but the safe is near a bathroom wall. that wall is the back side of a shower. the shower leaked and there was water in the safe at one point. i cleaned it all out and the shower has not been used after that. could the moisture cause the safe to not open? and how do i get it opened if the combo doesnt work any more?

we purchased a home and a safe (serial model #239197, model #1512) was left with the combination. i do not know which way, or how many times to turn knob to the right or left. can you please help me. thank you.

hello,
right 4 turns to the center line.
left 3 turns to the center line.
right 2 turns to the center line.
left 1 turn straight to the number on the center line.
then turn the dail to the left and it should stop on that line.
