i just bought a new home and the prievious owner passed away. her son left her safe in the home. it is a meilink model or serial number 72-33578. is there any way to open this safe without destroying it.

the son said there might be some personel papers inside and that he would like to get them if i can get it open.

well, what i would suggest is if you have any friends that are doctors or vets ask if you could borrow their stethescope. if they say yes, put the plugs in your ears and put the circle part on the vault/safe door. rotate the handle to the right until you hear a click. then to the left, and back to the right. do this over and over again until it opens. if the vault you have dosn't have a twist handle, then i won't be able to help you.
