I have an old meilink safe

The safe locks with a key but also has an old style combination lock. We normally just use the key but someone has turned the knob on the combination lock so now the key will not open it. We know the combination but not the sequence on which direction to turn it and how many times. Could you possibly help? Donna

From:

4 times to left
3 times to right
2 times to left
slowly to the right with slight pressure on the handel
you will here it click and the dial will get hard to turn
turn it till the safe handel opens

i am a locksmith assigned to a large local institution with a meilink drop safe, spy proof dial, slot in front door, serial # 82-74743, i was wondering how to obtain the factory combination, insteat of doing damage to the safe in order to open it.
