· Hiding a wall safe is just being creative and outsmarting possible burglars. Burglars rarely look behind mundane objects like cereal or washing powder boxes and you can hide smaller safes behind them.
· A painting is the traditional way of hiding bigger ones. Choose a painting which fits with its surroundings and is not easily distinguishable. Anything out of place and/or esthetically unappealing is bound to attract attention. You can combine a painting cover with wall paper on the safe although this will make it harder to type in your combination.
· Paint or wallpaper your wall safe and merge it with your furniture. As its surface cannot be ideally flat, use vases, stickers, and your imagination to hide any protuberances.
· An interesting solution is to hang a cupboard on the safe and access it by removing the cupboard items.
· Tiles May be used to distinguish separate parts but you must add an automatically opening door as there is no room for a handle.
· As people generally look for things at their eye level, the lower or higher the safe is, the more unlikely it is for a thief to find it.
· Although camouflage helps protect a safe, its real defense is the unpredictable combination and strong casing.
