How to dial open a combination safe lock? | |
· Opening a dial-type safe is easy when following the Sequence – four times to the left, three times to the right, two to the left and one to the right. Just remember to do every step slowly so that you don’t make a mistake and would have to start from the beginning.
· Turn the wheel four times to the left, stopping on the nearest number.
· Refer the combination and pass the first stated number twice, stopping directly on it on your third go.
· Similarly, pass the second number once and on the next turn stop on it.
· Don not overpass the last number and stop on it. It is important the mechanism recognizes the number so be sure the lines of the wheel and fixture are properly aligned.
· After a few seconds continue to the right and between ninety and ninety-five you will feel a little tension in the wheel. Continue turning to the right until the wheel stops somewhere between eighty and ninety. You should hear a distinctive sound telling you that the safe is completely unlocked.
· Turn the handle and open the door.
